We are looking for a Junior Social Media Expert who has a strong interest in social media marketing, theatre, performing arts, and creative storytelling.
The ideal candidate should enjoy watching theatre shows, following social media trends, researching artists and performances, and creating content that connects with audiences. This role is suitable for someone who wants to build a career in digital marketing.
The candidate will work with the Visual and Digital Lead and support the team in planning, creating, posting, and analysing content across different social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and update the social media content calendar.
- Create, schedule, and post content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, X/Twitter, and YouTube.
- Research theatre shows, artists, plays, events, trends, and audience interests.
- Watch theatre news/shows and identify interesting content angles, audience reactions, and promotional opportunities.
- Brainstorm fresh and engaging social media content ideas with the team.
- Create captions, post copies, reel ideas, carousel concepts, and campaign ideas.
- Use platform features such as stories, reels, polls, stickers, GIFs, Q&A, trends, and interactive formats.
- Repurpose existing content into engaging and shareable formats for different platforms.
- Support live event coverage, theatre events, interviews, promotional activities, and campaigns.
- Coordinate with designers, editors, content writers, and internal teams.
- Track basic analytics to understand the performance of posts and campaigns.
- Stay updated with social media trends, creator trends, theatre updates, and digital marketing practices.
Skills Required:
- Good understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube & X/Twitter.
- Strong interest in theatre, performing arts, entertainment, and culture.
- Passion for marketing, storytelling, and audience engagement.
- Good command over English & Hindi.
- Ability to write simple, clear, and engaging captions and content ideas.
- Creative thinking and willingness to experiment with new formats.
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Willingness to attend theatre shows, live events, and shoots when required.
Additional Skills Preferred:
- Basic knowledge of Canva, Capcut, or similar design tools.
- Basic understanding of reels, short videos, thumbnails, and visual content.
- Knowledge of social media analytics and insights.
- Knowledge of Hindi, Marathi, or Gujarati theatre will be an added advantage.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mass Media, Mass Communication, Marketing, Media Studies, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
- 1 Year Experience / Fresher
